I can’t tell you how many times I speak with brides who want to reserve us for their wedding in three months and are devastated when we are fully booked! How can you avoid making the same mistake?
More Time For Personalization
Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that wedding cinematography is something that most couples put on their wedding “Wish List” but then wait, sometimes for months, to see if there will be any room left in their budget for it. Do not wait until your wedding is right around the corner to contact us! If you reach out to us six months, nine months or ideally a year before your wedding, we are able to get to know you and your fiancé personally, establish open lines of communication, understand your style and answer any questions that you might have. The end result is that your films will be uniquely crafted for you because we were able to make those personal connections during that year of wedding planning! Obviously, some brides do not have a year to plan their wedding, but my point is that the sooner you reach out, the more we get to know you and personalize your films!
Booking now will save a lot of stress as your special day approaches. Believe me, the last thing you’ll want or need is to be worrying about booking your DJ, photographer, band, or whoever when your wedding is just a couple months away! This should be a time of anticipation and excitement with your fiancé, not a time to frantically see who is still available on your wedding date. When you book early, as the day approaches you will be more relaxed and confident, with time to plan and to dream of your future with your new husband/wife.
There are roughly 180,000 brides in Texas at any given time and only 52 weekends a year. That means there has to be at least 3,462 wedding cinematographers in Texas, filming every single weekend. In short, do not wait to book your vendors, any of your vendors, but maybe especially your cinematographer! Save yourself a lot of stress and allow us to do what we do best… ultimately making your day the best it can be!
