Frequently Asked Questions

Videography is the capturing of an event, but cinematography is the art of designing a piece of film that is movie quality. We strive to create films where you and your partner are the main characters in your own work of art!

A documentary film captures your entire ceremony and all the highlights from your reception! All of the speeches, toasts, important dances, etc. will be highlighted in your documentary film. These are typically about an hour long, depending on the length of your ceremony.

We edit your films as soon as we shoot them, to guarantee a quick delivery! A teaser trailer will be delivered within two weeks (Design VIP+ brides receive their teaser trailer on their wedding day), highlight films will be delivered within 4 – 6 weeks and documentary films will be delivered within 10 – 12 weeks!

To reserve your date, we require a 50% deposit. The other 50% will be due by a week before your wedding day.

Yes!  We are thankful for your service to our country so we offer a 10% discount.  You must have proof of service.  Call us to book with the discount!

We use Lavalier microphones that are attached to the officiant and groom. They are strong enough to pick up the bride’s voice as well, which is very important for capturing the vows! If you are having a DJ during your ceremony, we will simply plug into his soundboard to collect the sound.

All hours in our collections must be consecutive. We try to be fair to our cinematographers and, since they would be unable to find another employment opportunity on that day, we cannot offer split timelines.

We want to film your wedding from when you are getting ready to your grand exit! We typically suggest that we start filming at least 2 hours before the ceremony, or any pre-ceremony moments, such as a first look or letter exchange.

We are a Canon, Sony & Panasonic studio. Our cinematographers film with the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II or Sony a7S II or Panasonic GH5 video camera.

Additional cinematographers are only available with The Diamond package.
